In effect she has agreed that the ground is made unusable 2 month before the National selection events! She is incidently also an elite sports person and a Shiv Chattrapati award winner. When she was selected for this position in 2011 she had said in a news article ‘Dadoji Stadium is in sporting hands’, "As a sportsperson, I am emotionally attached to the stadium and I’ve been making necessary changes that will surely help the future generations.“ While in 2016 end she make a statement in DNA that stadium needs a make over and Ranji cricket needs to played here” “.
