During a recent broadcast, we asked local MP and Thames Ditton resident, Dominic Raab, to join our Stop Wrecking Thames Ditton campaign -- and to join over 1,400 people who, like you, have already signed our petition.

We have asked the Residents Associations and the Liberal Democrats to respond to what Dominic Raab said.

As you know, Stop Wrecking Thames Ditton is not aligned to any of the political parties (Conservative, Residents Association, or Liberal Democrat) that are represented by the Councillors at Elmbridge  Borough Council.

Instead, we judge national and local politicians entirely on the basis of the extent to which they are working to stop the uncontrolled over-development of Thames Ditton and places nearby by property developers.

It's over-development that is out of all proportion to the small size of the Thames Ditton population!  

Currently we are unable to recommend ANY of these political parties to our supporters. NONE of these political parties has any kind of coherent planning policy!!  

However, we in Stop Wrecking Thames Ditton continue to keep this issue at the forefront -- and we therefore live in hope that much better planning policies will be presented to voters that we and our supporters will be able to agree to.
