Hello all! It’s Lynn from Climate Strike Thailand. On Friday, 7 September, I went to the United Nations Headquarters in Bangkok to speak for All in For Climate Action. During a session called Action Hub—part of the Asia Pacific Climate Week, in which people from around the world came to discuss and share about climate change and fossil fuels—I spoke introduced our youth movement to the audience.
I outlined our demands, and spoke about the All in For Climate Action gathers several petitions around the world and joins them together, giving voice to the under-represented while also creating a united, powerful body of global citizens demanding for climate action.
It wasn’t a big crowd in the audience, but by the end of the presentation, a striker from Nauru, a small country in Oceania came up to me and said she was interested to join the movement—that made the presentation all worth it. As young leaders from each countries step up and come together one by one, it makes us even stronger and stronger each day.
