I can assure you Ruth, I certainly do not think I am “in a better position” or that my daughter is “more worthy of help because” her “father died instead of running away”. I was simply reminding Barry not to make assumptions. You are entitled to your own opinion, but if you actually read the aim of my petition, I want to HELP make a difference for ALL STUDENT PARENTS! Not once did I mention I would only like to help student parents who are SINGLE or who are single but are either supported financially by their children’s other parent or only if their other parent has sadly passed away.

Not that it is any of your business but id also like to make you aware, I did not become a single parent because my daughters Dad died, we had been separated for 3 years already.

If you ask me, you are just as small minded as Barry!
