Texas State injunction to halt sale and distribution of baking soda

Texas State injunction to halt sale and distribution of baking soda
The Issue
Since the early years of the 1980's black men and women have been prosecuted to 5, 10 and as much as 30 years in prison for non-violent offense of drug distribution, specifically, crack cocaine. The children of many of these black men and women are growing up without their family member. Since that time, Congress has passed a bill, in 2006, to stop the manufacture and distribution of Crystal Meth. Crystal Meth is manufactured with Sudafed cold medicine. Congress thought it was good to make a law that required sudafed to be placed behind the store counter, limit sudafed sales to one box, and to require identification to purchase the drug sudafed.
Crack cocaine is made with baking soda. Congress thought it was good to make mandatory minimum sentencing laws of 5, 10, and as much as 30 years. Congress said, that for every crack rock it would be equal to 500 grams cocaine powder.
To date, there are still thousands of black men and women sitting in prison for crack cocaine, and today, Church and Dwight, Inc. is manufacturing and distributing baking soda in Texas stores.
My goal is to have the Texas Government discontinue the SALE of the baking soda drug in the State of Texas.
Each State has a legitimate interest in protecting the communities from harm. Over the years the U.S. Senate and House has acknowledged that the drug war of the 1980's was wrong, and the co-sponsor of that 1986 bill was the now President - Mr. Joe Biden. During His Presidential campaign, Mr. Biden said the 1986 law was wrong, and he vowed to fix it. So, let's ask him together, to ban baking soda sales from the State of Texas and protect the future of our children.
