THANK YOU for signing the Save Texas Schools petition! If you haven't already, sign up and join us next Saturday, April 5th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Save Texas Schools rally at the TX State Capitol! We are fighting for at least $1,300 per student added by the state, as well as saying NO! to private school vouchers. Texas schools have only 80% of the state funding they had in 2019, with no funding added since then to cover inflation. Why? Because the Governor says no new funding until he gets his private school voucher plan. 75% of Texas school districts are in the red. Schools are closing. Teachers are losing their jobs, and programs are being cut. The Texas legislature has $50 billion available, but what they lack is the will. THAT'S WHY THOUSANDS OF US ARE RALLYING NEXT SATURDAY.
