As feared, there was not enough time yesterday for the House to consider this bill. They were behind already and with Wednesday's leftovers and Thursday's planned list they had 290 bills to consider before midnight. We have been told that there was a "buzz" about it and that there was a lot of support for the bill thanks in no small part to all of you! A huge thank you to TAA, Karen, and their lobbyist Brad, Representative Anderson, for getting this bill moving in the first place and to Jenny, Stephanie & Michael, Chelsea, Chrystal, Jamie, Wendi and all the other parents, family and friends who helped get HB 2979 as far as we did! Last session it didn't even make it through the insurance committee step. This time we were ready for a vote! Now it is time to fall back, regroup and reorganize.
