Senate Republicans, led by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, blocked passage of the CROWN Act legislation by Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman today. The objection by Senator Paul to provide unanimous consent to move H.R. 2116 forward for a vote sends a clear message that Republicans support employer and schools discriminating based on hair texture.
