Double murder. Small town politics. Investigators with blinders on. Corrupt District Attorneys violating an inmate's rights. We've all heard that movie plot before. Only this time, it's not fantasy -- it's reality. "Texas Justice: Brandon Woodruff" takes a hard-hitting look at the Capital Murder case of Brandon Woodruff, a 19 year old gay college kid accused of murdering both of his parents. By all accounts, Dennis and Norma Woodruff were living the typical American dream with good jobs, a close family, and a love for each other that they thought would carry them into their golden years. All of that came to an abrupt halt one October night in 2005. Their lives were senselessly and abruptly cut short in an instant. With all of the elements you see from right out of the most fantastic movie plots, this True Crime documentary sets out to expose why Brandon Woodruff is innocent, but more importantly who might be responsible for the double execution.
The first ever "Work-in-Progress" screening of TEXAS JUSTICE: BRANDON WOODRUFF will be September 24th, 2018, at the Texas Theater. See the Facebook link below for more details!
