We petition the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to order Formosa Plastics of Texas to immediately stop discharging plastic pellets and powders into Lavaca Bay and its creeks, wetlands, and shores.  Lavaca Bay is home to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Powderhorn Ranch State Park and an important commercial and recreational fishing industry.  We demand that TCEQ order Formosa to responsibly clean up what it has discharged, so that wildlife and vegetation are not harmed by the cleanup. 

Citizens expect TCEQ to protect our natural resources and to enforce the law aggressively.  Formosa is and has for some time been in violation of the Clean Water Act, and TCEQ needs to do something about it.
