Hello there,

 

This message is for Kingdom Hearts fans who have followed the series and maybe, like me, are starting to feel that it's time to let it go.

Let’s be honest. If you’ve tried to understand the Kingdom Hearts plot and ended up confused, you’re not alone. The story has become a mess of contradictions, repetitive themes, vague dialogue, and mystery with no real payoff.

It’s Not a Crossover Anymore — Just Confusion

When Kingdom Hearts started, the idea of combining Disney and Final Fantasy characters was magical. But now:

 

  • Disney characters barely matter and just repeat lines from their movies.
  • Final Fantasy characters are gone or irrelevant.
  • The story is focused on timelines, “hearts,” “light,” and vague philosophical metaphors instead of real characters or growth.

 

Even the gameplay is bloated and filled with padding to hide weak story structure.

 

 

 

 

Same Problems, Every Time

Under Tetsuya Nomura’s direction, the series has:

  • Confusing plots with no emotional payoff.
  • Long development delays.
  • Frustrating endings and unnecessary changes (like in Final Fantasy VII Remake).
  • Disney/FF crossovers that feel hollow.
  • Poor writing and direction in KH3.

 

 

It's Time to Shut It Down

I know it’s hard to say, but maybe Kingdom Hearts should be done. Finished. Canceled. If Nomura really has been replaced or pushed out, maybe that’s for the better. Maybe now Square Enix can focus on new talent, better storytelling, and games that respect their audience.                                                               

It’s not 2002 anymore. The series needs to evolve or end.

 

 

 

 

To KH Fans: Please Understand

This isn’t about hate. It’s about recognizing when something has lost its spark. If you still love the series, that’s totally okay. But we need to be real about how bad the writing has become, how little Disney and Final Fantasy matter anymore, and how much potential has been wasted.

 

 

 

Let’s stop pretending this franchise is still great just because we grew up with it. It’s time for Square Enix to move on—and maybe for us to move on too.

 

If you want to fix the plot by say something who would make sense or reboot the series his still doesn't work. I know that because I watch and read many many fans texts and fans video who want to fixed plot but hi doesn't. Because the plot and project is weird and bad deal as wouldn't exist in first place.
