Boris Johnson has spoken nationally about the vaccine which may be available by Christmas and has set out the list of priorities for the vaccine

The United Kingdom has ordered 40 million doses of Pfizer vaccine, including 10 million due by end of year if it gets regulatory approval

This is who gets it:

1. Care home residents & staff
2. 80+/ health/ social care
3. 75+
4. 70+
5. 65+
6. High risk adults <65
7. Moderate risk adults <65
8. 60+
9. 55+
10. 50+

This is great new for social care and those using the services however concerns are being raised about whether there will be enough vaccines to go around the above list
