Sadly I cannot bring complete good news, instead more news of lack of testing and numerous issues that care services and care workers are facing.

I am pleased to say that BBC Look East have been really supportive and last week met me again to highlight the ongoing issues of not being tested. You can watch the programme here: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2944924852452780&extid=j1jtEdNgqHNsHUID

Together we are being heard and yesterday the Department of Health and Social Care issued an apology for the delay in results however more needs to be done. We need all care workers across the United Kingdom to be tested on a regular basis. You can read the apology in The Guardian article here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/sep/07/uk-government-apologises-for-care-home-covid-testing-delays

I would like to personally thank Jessica Palmer, a support worker who spoke about how the anxiety of bringing the virus to and from the care home she works in due to lack of testing and of course to all of you continuing to sign and share this petition/campaign.

I hope the next time I update you all it is with good news, however for now please can you take one moment in your day to share this update or the overall petition to continue to raise awareness
