In less than 48 hours this petition has topped 30,000 signatures!
It's not surprising really though as over 250,000 people are directly affected and need these facilities in their local supermarket, especially in the run up to Christmas.
Yesterday, this was headline news on Heart Radio! Until a certain prince decided to steal the show and bump all other stories off the news!
But the campaign is gaining more national media interest and this week, BBC News will be exposing the conditions disabled people face without a changing places toilet in their 6pm and 10pm bulletins.
Tune in to BBC News on Wednesday (subject to breaking news) to see interviews with myself and some other families who have been working hard on the changing places campaign for years.
BBC News also interviewed Ikea, who have committed to putting changing places toilets in all of their UK stores within 18 months so it will be interesting to see their views. They also asked the government to comment but they were reluctant to do so on camera which sums up their interest in this issue.
In the wider campaign, Zack Kerr will be delivering his petition to parliament this week. He was successful in getting over 100,000 people to support his campaign to get changing places toilets in all UK motorway services.
Sarah Brisdion has launched a brand new campaign calling for people to take a selfie of themselves on the toilet! Read more on her Huffington Post blog http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/we-all-need-to-pee-its-nothing-to-be-ashamed-of_uk
Last week there was a lot of national coverage of the campaign from the online press. Google 'John Lewis Toilet Floor News' to find all the articles.
PLEASE keep supporting the campaign, ask friends and family to sign and share with their friends.
