The meat industry isn't understood by a lot of people but it contains a life of torture and torment for innocent animals who have been bred purely to be slaughtered and sold in supermarkets to make a profit and a 'tasty' meal.

With both limited education on this topic and therefore limited choice in supermarkets, it is no wonder that the meat industry has become something that seems acceptable.

There needs to be more choice in supermarkets which include foods that we can buy where no living animal was harmed in the process and in turn, making us healthier, happier and more compassionate.
