YOUR VOICE IS BEING HEARD!!!
Since launching this petition , we have been collectively giving voice to all those who had silently accepted this unilateral decision by a major multinational company: Tesco, who hardly bothered to consult our community if its parking restrictions would cause any inconvenience for us. For months even the local councillors banged their heads against a brick wall to negotiate a compromise with Tesco. But now things are moving since we have raised our ante. Close to 700 have signed this petition and its growing. People have been put off by the harsh treatment at the hands of parking attendants, they have vowed not to shop here, and some even thought of abandoning Tesco after years. Lets not forget that this petition is to serve everyone, including Tesco, and all the shops , offices, library, the college, not leaving anyone behind. This is not against the Tesco Store, which employs many of our friends and families , its against the narrow ideology coming somewhere from the high ups in Tesco's hierarchy , which has lost touch with common humanity: that to levy an unjust parking fine on someone's weekly pension shows such apathy. Our mission is to send this message to them. Do not abandon a community on whose support you stand. Thank you !!!
