Hello! I’m so excited to share some huge news with you all... this Valentine’s Day I would be absolutely delighted if you could show your love for the beautiful animals of the world by supporting my latest fundraiser in whatever way you can.  https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/lucy-gavaghan-3

This October I’ll be climbing the worlds tallest free standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, in aid of the Elephant Orphanage Project in Zambia. As you all know, over the last few years I’ve been campaigning to change the way we see animals. Every single creature on this earth deserves to live a life free from the awful suffering so often forced upon them by the humans who should be their protectors.

The Elephant Orphanage Project provides animals with exactly this. They work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and release the elephants often orphaned due to illegal poaching activities which continue to brutally take the lives of countless innocent individuals.

Preserving and protecting these creatures now is absolutely essential to avoid a future in which children learn about these stunning species as a feature of a past world.

Kilimanjaro is certainly not a challenge to be underestimated but I believe with all my heart that this is one of the most worthy causes to take it on for. I’d like to send a huge thank you for all your support in the past and I really do hope you’ll donate if you’re able to.

I may not have ever taken on anything like this before but the thought of a brighter future for the worlds animals and all of your wonderful support will be with me every step of the way!
