Thank you for your participation in this petition: Urging for proper investigations on the deaths of sea turtles in Terengganu.

Over 1,100 people have signed  !!! This is important to our cause as it brings attention and creates an awareness for change that is needed. Thank you for helping us  get this far. The petition has now been sent to YB Datuk Sei Dr. Ronald Kiandee ,Menteri Pertanian Dan Industri Makanan.

Sea turtles are one of the gentlest creatures to grace our oceans; they are critical to the biodiversity of the ocean and are major contributors to healthy marine ecosystems. The loss of sea turtles will affect marine life and eventually human life as well.

And so, our actions must continue , in order to tackle these issues and encourage a better understanding within the local community.

On that note, I am pleased to inform you that The International SeaKeepers Society, Asia; Universiti Malaysia Terengganu; Kapas Turtles; Pinang Films; and VoxEureka are spearheading the #BringOurTurtlesBack campaign which will take place in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia in July 2022. The event will be a series of activities held over a few days with an objective to raise awareness about sea turtles and also to raise funds for related sea turtle initiatives namely hatchery data research, school education programmes, and habitat monitoring.
