I received news today that Vanessa Coleman's parole hearing has been rescheduled for December 10, 2014, to determine if she is eligible for early release. Due to this sudden news, I am closing the petition at midnight tonight, November 8, to allow the State time to record the hundreds of thousands of comments and signatures submitted . We realize we have no control over this situation other than our freedom to express our opinions regarding this hearing. We ask for your thoughts and prayers on December 10 as the families and many friends go to Nashville to fight for justice for Chris and Channon. Once again, on behalf of the Newsom and Christian families, I'd like to say thank you for the enormous outpouring of support to keep this murderer in jail. With over 310,000 signatures, all of you have made this one of the most popular criminal justice campaigns in Change.org history. God bless all of you for your support and help.
