Dear Friends, I know first-hand that It's hard to find words to express the gratitude that the Newsom and Christian families feel from your support. Twenty-four years ago, I found myself thrown into the confusing world of the justice system when my father was murdered by two juvenile offenders. Back in the pre-internet era it was very difficult to rally support for victims of crime and victims rights. I am most grateful to the staff at Change.org for their assistance in helping us reach our goal of 75,000 but the fight is far from over. Although the parole hearing is several months away, we want to have our campaign finished by early November to give the state government time to add the potential thousands of comments, emails, and letters to Vanessa Coleman's files. There is still a very real chance she could be released. As a victims rights advocate, I've seen it happen before. Let's make sure it does not happen again! Join me by going the extra mile and writing a letter to the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole or sending an email that expresses your concerns. Below is the contact information. Make sure you reference her Offender # 473393 in your letter or email. Thank you for your support!
