First I would like to thank everyone for there support and confidence in the effort to Save Waverly Woods/Erie Beach. I have some good news. The appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (formerly OMB) has been received. Lots of work has been put into this process but there is a lot more to do. The appeal process is very costly so we are asking for help in raising the funds to continue. The funds will be used to obtain expert and legal assistance as well as administrative costs of filing the appeal. Three people will be monitoring the fund closely to ensure that the funds are spent solely for this purpose. If more funds are raised than are required a donation will be made to Nature Conservancy Canada. We are not a charitable organization so tax receipts can not be issued.
