I am deeply grateful for the support I have received in my quest to have Pennington's rightful degree from Yale recognized. Over the past two years, I have worked tirelessly to integrate over two centuries of injustice into my research while juggling various responsibilities, including serving as assistant chaplain of the Yale Football team, co-chaplain of Yale Black Seminarians, and Vice President of the Black Men's Union. Despite Yale's persistent denial of Pennington's degree, the unwavering support of my team and advocates like Khalil Greene has allowed us to make progress. I am proud to carry on the work of those before me and remain committed to bringing truth and light to this long-overdue recognition of Pennington's academic achievements.
