New co-author signals urgency: Act now!

Just yesterday, Representative Darrin B. Madison (D-Milwaukee) joined the Assembly sponsorship of bills SB 477, SB 478, AB 504, and AB 503, raising serious concerns about bipartisan support for these dangerous measures. While previously promoted primarily by Republicans, Madison's addition suggests a concerted effort to push these bills through before the Assembly session ends next week.

These bills pose a grave threat to core freedoms of expression and body autonomy in Wisconsin. They could criminalize parents for bringing their children to events featuring any nudity, even unintentionally, and significantly expand the reach of public indecency laws, potentially criminalizing everyday activities.

With only three Assembly sessions remaining (Thu. 2/15; Tue. 2/20; Thu. 2/22) the likelihood of passage has dramatically increased.
