Politicians are finally waking up, after putting the Western United States including California and Nevada through a hellish dark campaign of destruction on the part of US Forest Managers by destructively growing fires larger and larger since 1978, destroying our families health, our way of life, our property and our forests. These policies are of course not developed by our line firefighters, but Forest Service managers. Many experts believe that growing fires larger and larger actually place thousands more of our firefighters at risk over longer periods of time.
Driven by the false premise that we need to let a million acres burn to keep a million acres from burning is dangerous, illogical and just plain wrong.
This includes the US Forest Service public relations machine strategy of deflecting and evading the truth of the untold suffocation, slaughter, maming and suffering of millions of wildlife due to US Forest Service Manager's neandrathal "Must Burn", "Just Burn", "Just Let It Burn" tactics.
These utopian ideology tactics originated in California Bay Area Universities in the early 70's. The "let it burn" policy has scoped creeped way out of control into what many believe may eventually be historically recorded as a crime against humanity.
The L.A. Times published a recent article titled "Forest Service changes ‘Let it Burn’ wildfire policy after criticism from politicians Updated Aug 05, 2021; Posted Aug 05, 2021 which states:
“Facing criticism over its practice of monitoring some fires rather than quickly extinguishing them, the U.S. Forest Service has told its firefighters to stop using the strategy for now, to help prevent small blazes from growing into uncontrollable conflagrations”. The Times went on to state “The policy change came days after politicians from California and western states — including Gov. Gavin Newsom — publicly challenged the “let it burn” approach in the wake of the Tamarack fire”.
Notice the "for now" comment. Actually the US Forest Service, which are masters of public message spinning, have no intention of stopping this destructive policy. They operate without any real oversight or control and carry out their destructive policies with impunity.
Please tell the new US Forest Service Chief Randy Moore that we demand a stop to this purposeful US Forest Service policy of destruction which is causing so much suffering. It is degrading our health, the health of our families, our way of life, our forests, recreation and slaughtering our wildlife.
These utopian policies are not based on any settled science are, not working and will only cause greater detsruction if we let US Forest Service managers continue on this path.
