We launched our most important campaign yet: to save 20,000+ beagle puppies from dying in Food & Drug Administration (FDA) MAX-PAIN pharmaceutical tests!
Our goal? End FDA’s dog testing mandate which forces drug makers to torture small hounds. Let’s Cut FDA Red Tape!
DEADLINE: Chip in $5 — the cost of a Starbucks mocha — or as much as you can afford.
Let me break it down for you:
- An outdated, 80-year-old FDA regulation forces drug makers to experiment on and kill 20,000+ puppies a year – many without anesthesia or pain relief.
- Industry doctors and scientists don’t want to kill these beagles. But FDA severely punishes them for choosing high-tech, non-dog alternatives.
- Poisoned. Gassed. Executed. 1/3 of all U.S. dog testing is done just because of useless, outdated government regulations like these. It’s infuriating!
DEADLINE: We need to raise $15,539 before the end of the month (T-6 days) to sustain this fight. Will you chip in $5 — or even $50 — to make this happen?
The system is SICK. Our new campaign is the cure… but only if we cover our budget:
- CHIP IN $10: Rally 5,000 taxpayers to call Congress »
- CHIP IN $25: Rally 12,500 taxpayers to call Congress »
- CHIP IN $50: Rally 25,000 taxpayers to call Congress »
- CHIP IN $100: Alert the national media »
- CHIP IN $250: Buy ads to expose the abuse »
- CHIP IN OTHER AMOUNT: Contribute to where the need is the greatest »
You see, an American pharmaceutical company who reached out to our team and blew the whistle on this government-mandated scandal!
Why? Because their own doctors and scientists witnessed our grassroots army (YOU!) make the FDA behave time and time again!
Remember when you helped us end FDA’s taxpayer-funded monkey nicotine addiction tests… and close 1/3 of FDA’s primate labs?
Or when you helped us change FDA’s policy to adopt out all its lab survivors... instead of just killing them?
Now we need your help again: this time, to end FDA’s max-pain dog testing mandate. Will you pitch in $5 — or as much as you can — to help us fund another winning campaign?
20,000+ puppies. One piece of red tape.
What do you say?

P.S. As a group that exposes government waste, it’s extremely important to us that we don’t waste your money either. That’s why we carefully budget each of our campaigns down to the cent.
Here’s the flip side: missing our revenue target means cutting critical activities like investigations, media outreach, advertising, and lobbying on Capitol Hill. Without these strategies and tactics, our efforts will likely fail. We simply can’t cut FDA Red Tape if our own books are in the red… or if we’re forced to make cuts to our own campaign budget.
We don’t ask for money unless we need it, and we need to raise $15,539 before MIDNIGHT, AUGUST 31 to keep this campaign alive.
