Please Stay Connected with Save Holland Lake

Thank you for participating and signing this petition to stand against the U.S. Forest Service/POWDR expansion of Holland Lake Lodge. Over 5,550 Americans have signed it—providing an overwhelming stand against this corporate development of our public lands.
In November 2022, the USFS denied the permit under the condition of errors and invited POWDR to submit a revised Master Development Plan. POWDR said they intend to do just that and would not be compromising on the size and scale of the project.
So, what does this mean? It means we need to get prepared. While the Flathead National Forest says they will not disclose any proposals submitted until they’ve had a chance to review, we are most certain there will be another public comment period in the future.
Here’s how you can help.
For various reasons, we will be closing down this Change.org petition soon. In the meantime, to stay in touch with us and to be kept in-the-know of what is happening and how you can help, please subscribe to our email list.
We promise to only email you with important information regarding Holland Lake, and especially when we have action items and it’s time to make your voice heard. Most importantly, we will use it to contact you when there are additional public comment periods so we can amplify the number of voices from the original 6,500 comments – 99 percent of which were opposed to the massive expansion proposal. (Note: We will not sell the mailing list and we will not use it to ask for contributions – it will just be for significant status updates)
Holland Lake is the incomparable gem of the beautiful Seeley-Swan Corridor in western Montana. To protect our public lands and wildlife from the commodification and monetization by a billion-dollar company, we must stand together and fight for its preservation. Let’s move that dial and overwhelm the Forest Service in the next comment period.
Thank you for your commitment toward preserving the pristine gem of Holland Lake. We look forward to staying connected with you as we wait for the next Master Development Plan to be submitted to the Forest Service.
Sincerely, The Save Holland Lake Team
