After months of no response from Fieldale Farms on the important question of whether it uses cruel “nose bones,” Compassion Over Killing asked you to reach out to the company. And thanks to your hundreds of calls and messages, Fieldale sent us this brief statement: “Fieldale Farms Corporation does not use ‘nose bones’ in any of its chickens and Fieldale Farms Corporation does not condone the use of ‘nose bones’ in any chickens.” With your help, COK has now confirmed that 15 of the nation’s top 20 poultry producers--responsible for raising and killing billions of birds--have stopped or do not use this barbaric practice. Once a common industry practice, the use of nose bones is soon to fly the coop, after a COK investigation exposed it on hidden camera for the first time. Thank you for being a voice for birds! Please continue signing and sharing our latest petition urging Tyson Foods to become a true food leader by ending debilitating rapid growth of birds and shifting to plant protein: http://bit.ly/TysonExposedAgain
