Thank you for joining this global petition asking the UN Security Council to declare a ceasefire in Lebanon and Palestine and to stop arms sales to Israel.

As of today, more than 2,300 people have been killed in Lebanon and over 1.2 million people displaced. In Gaza at least 43,020 people have been killed and 101,110 wounded. These numbers alone do not give a full picture of the extent of the tragedy that hundreds of thousands of civilians, including Syrian and Palestinian refugees, have been enduring for over the past month.

It’s time to call for an end to this nightmare.

The UK is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council so it has the power to lead the international community in the ceasefire process.

Please stand with the hundreds of thousands of civilians, including Syrian and Palestinian refugees, at risk in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, and demand that your MP and the UK act now.
