We are currently running a week of action to #StopJackdaw, and it has got off to a great start so far! Here's a quick round up...

Just in the last few days, we’ve had thousands of people across the UK taking action against new oil and gas both online and in the streets. We’ve had rallies in Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, Galashiels and Stourbridge, put up stickers and posters across the country, dropped banners, and held information stalls and flyering events in London, Berko, Houston, Oban, New Milton, Dunoon, Bridlington, Huntington and Edinburgh. And that’s just the beginning! We have dozens more events planned across the country and online until the end of the week. Thousands of us have taken digital action across platforms, and we’ve even had #StopJackdaw trending on twitter.

Throughout the week, we are also running various digital actions such as tweeting and emailing MPs, writing to local media, and filling up #StopJackdaw with selfies, placards and memes. As a movement, we are also mass calling our MPs to ask them to speak up about Jackdaw: see our call guide for guidance if you’d be willing to give your MP a call!
