The pressure is on! My sister Teresa wants an apology from the Ontario government -- and she may just get it tomorrow! YOU and 26,000 others have written to the Ontario government since we started this Change.org petition asking for an apology. Last week, BC Civil Liberties Association and seven major signatories, wrote to the Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Eric Hoskins, asking him for an apology. They pointed out that, “Teresa Pocock’s forced admission to an Ontario long-term care home violated her human rights.” Now in a two-part interview, Global News' reporter Christina Stevens is asking Minister Hoskins for an apology on TV. Will the Minister apologize? I'm very glad that Christina Stevens is asking him -- and so publicly. I'm also glad that she is digging in to find out how many others this is happening to. Watch Part One of the interview at the link below. Tune in for Part Two on Global News tomorrow night, July 22, 2016, to see whether Minister Hoskins apologizes to Teresa. Because Human Rights Should Never Be Disabled. And thank you again for your tremendous support. Please share this news and the petition!
