TOMORROW: Join Us at County Council Hearing

Tomorrow, the County Council will be debating whether or not to grant the LERTA tax benefit (Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance) to the developer who wants to use the site as a warehouse. Councilmembers will likely decide their votes on who turns out, so it is crucial that county residents, workers, and business owners turn out to reject this plan.
The meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday), August 4 at 6:30pm at the County Courthouse (669 Washington Street in Easton). Please note from the image that the building entrance is around the back of the building. Also note that you will need to walk through a metal detector when you arrive so try to arrive by 6:15.
Finally, if you are planning to speak during the hearing, please note you will only have 5 minutes to share remarks.
