We have reached over 250,000 signatures on this petition, and it is being hailed as the largest anti-censorship campaign in gaming history. I couldn't be anymore prouder! It is all thanks to you for signing the petition and spreading the word all over the world. Keep up the momentum and keep spreading the word. The battle for Free Speech and Free Expression is rough, and now we are seeing how vile these payment processors and these so-called "activist groups" really are.

As of July 2025, users in most regions can no longer use PayPal to make Steam purchases—unless paying in EUR, CAD, GBP, JPY, AUD, or USD. Valve credits this to PayPal’s acquiring bank suddenly stopping transactions in other currencies, leaving affected users worldwide without a key payment option. While Valve insists these disruptions are strictly financial—unrelated to content policies—users and observers see a deeper concern: corporate risk aversion leading to diminished access and user choice.

In mid-2025, Visa and Mastercard pressed Steam, itch.io, and other platforms to remove adult-themed games in response to a campaign led by certain activist groups. Though Mastercard later denied playing a direct role, Valve revealed that payment rules—particularly Mastercard’s Rule 5.12.7, which prohibits “offensive” content that may "harm the brand"—were cited by the payment processors’ banks when enforcing content restrictions.

Yet despite this vigorous action against certain fictional content, Visa and Mastercard, and certain activist groups remain notably silent on much more urgent and real threats—groomers operating on Roblox.

Roblox recently banned and issued a legal threat to a well-known YouTuber, Schlep, who independently confronted groomers on the platform, resulting in six arrests. In response, Roblox cited policy violations like “simulated child endangerment.” Schlep claims he repeatedly offered cooperation and evidence, but was blocked—and public outrage followed, with campaigns like #FreeSchlep and #BoycottRoblox emerging.

Meanwhile, over 300 lawsuits have been filed across the U.S. by parents alleging Roblox allowed grooming and exploitation through systemic failures, lax moderation, and inadequate safety tools. Yet activist groups remain conspicuously silent, despite devoting resources to policing fictional content, mobilizing payment platforms over it, and begging supporters for money between $10-$1000 per donation to fight against us. Where is their outcry over real-world harm?

It shows hypocrisy on the activists' side and on the side of the payment processors, who do NOTHING. If these activist groups, payment processors, and even politicians REALLY cared about protecting children, then they would go after the actual REAL-LIFE predators and leave fictional Content alone!

What can be done? Raise your voices and keep spreading the word!

  • Steam & PayPal: Reinstate global PayPal support; commit to supporting users, not deferring to banking opacity.
  • Payment giants: Ask them: are they defenders of free expression or digital censors by proxy?
  • Roblox: Don’t combat those trying to protect your users. Collaborate with people like Schlep to put an end to predators.
  • Activist Groups: If you truly care about protecting children, fight against REAL-LIFE predators—not fictional content.
