Hello everyone, First I'd like to say a heart felt thank you to each of the 3,458 people who took the time to read and sign Sugrat’s petition. Your response has touched our hearts and helped us to realize we are not as alone. Unfortunately Sugrat is still being held in detention today. May 20th marks three months that ICE has held him in the Staffford County Jail. He has had no word as to his fate. I continue working towards his release. I sought out a highly successful immigration lawyer in our area to get another opinion about Sugrat’s case. It is this lawyer's opinion that we have pursued the right steps thus far. He thinks we have a good case yet and is willing to review the details of Sugrat’s case and file another motion in court  for Sugrat. The $5,000 dollar fee for his services are way beyond my means. With the loss of Sugrat’s income I cannot even cover my family’s day to day expenses.  I even applied for a bank loan to cover the lawyer’s fees but without  success.  So I turn to you, in any amount you are able, please contribute to our fund raiser that I have set up to pay the immigration lawyer fees. This is a lawyer who believes he can win in court for Sugrat. Any amount would be greatly appreciated by our family in our fight to have him back with us home again. Also, please share this with anyone else you know who may want to help.
