It is not the answer we wanted, but it is an answer. Thank you for every one of you that cares about this community and the services offered to pregnant folks and babies. Signing this petition may not have changed the decision but it did bring public awareness to a growing issue of maternity deserts. I hope there are future strategies and resources that stop this happening nationwide. Regardless of numbers or profit, pregnant people,  especially those with high risk pregnancies, need access to care that is close to where they live.  Henderson Hospital will close the entire Women Services Unit to include labor & deliver, postpartum, and NICU. These services will not be available. The next closest hospital for these services is St Rose Siena and Sunrise Hospital.
