Hi all,

I just received a response from Rector James Hazel of GMU's Board of Visitors, wherein he affirms the school's decision to mandate boosters.

He did not dispute the two core claims of this petition, that (1) the timing of the mandate makes free consent impossible and (2) that the data make clear the risk/benefit of a third dose is negative for many GMU students, particularly males between the ages of 18-24.

He did however dispute that the signers of this petition were members of the GMU community. To that end, I would encourage all GMU members who have signed this petition to come out to the rally that will be held at Wilkins Plaza on the main campus, this Friday, January 28th at 10:30 AM.
