Leaving petition open...

When I first started this petition, there were obvious high hopes and expectations, and thanks to all of you who have signed, at least I don't feel like my ambitions were totally wasted, even if knowingly naive. 

Governments around the world have made it very clear that those in charge of policies and laws can not be bothered by the morals and ethics of most logical minded human beings, and instead choose to cater to the side of humanity that relishes greed and misdeeds. 

I am proud of all of you for standing against blatant evil and not allowing your voices to be silenced. I would appreciate anyone who continues to push this petition towards getting more signatures, but ultimately, I have resigned myself to the truth that I am at the mercy of the same people I oppose, and this makes it for a very unbalanced and frustrating societal position. Thank you all again and keep fighting the moral fight!
