It has been a nearly a week since the Family Dollar Regional Manager called to tell me that they were upholding this egregious ban, and allowing the manager at the Family Dollar to continue working there. 

In that call, he threatened that he had "hundreds of lawyers," ready to fight me if I did not quietly let this go. He screamed at me, and talked over me. Not one time did he ask a question about the circumstances of this crime, not one time did he listen. 

Several times in the last few days, I have felt like giving up. Maybe just accept that the world is unfair, and sometimes the bad guy wins. But then I look at my beautiful daughter, and I know there is no going back.

She deserves more from this world, she deserves to know that there are consequences for bad behavior by perverted men in this country. I cannot stand back and pretend my daughter doesn't matter - I can't give up. 

I also think, how long will it be before this man chooses another girl and family to harass? We have been told that this is a pattern with this employee, and that Family Dollar has done nothing to protect customers or employees from his hateful and sexually discriminatory practices.
