Hey everybody, I got back late Wednesday night from my latest trip to Washington, DC and wanted to check in before the weekend to share a video and some updates. It was exhausting to be in so many meetings, but good to see a lot of members of Congress support the permanent extension of the Zadroga Act. On top of all the first responders who came out, we brought a heavy hitter this time in the form of Jon Stewart. The media couldn't ignore us, and I think we have good momentum on our side. But we need to keep it up because we won't win until every member of Congress is on board with permanent health care for our heroes. Please call your members of Congress and tell them to support the permanent extension of the Zadroga Act. It's a simple message, but be sure they know you want this action to be permanent. Call the main Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you if you tell them where you live. Contact both Senators and your Representative. If you prefer, you can also look it up yourself: Your Representative: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/ Both of your Senators: http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?OrderBy=state&Sort=ASC Thank you again to those who made the trip to DC for the lobby day this week. For those of you who couldn't be there, here's a preview of a video Change.org is putting together for next week. John Feal
