A big thank you to everyone who signed our petition to encourage CITES to uplist the African Grey parrot to Appendix I, thereby ending all international trade. The World Parrot Trust will be attending CoP17 from September 24th to October 5th to actively support the process. The list of petition signatories has been sent in advance of the meetings to all CITES Parties. At the conclusion of the conference we will update everyone on the outcome of this very important vote.
