On Monday afternoon, the Beaufort County Community Services & Land Use Committee voted 6-1 to deny the rezoning request to remove the 502-acre Pine Island & St. Helenaville property from the St. Helena Island Cultural Protection Overlay (CPO). The rezoning request must now go to full Beaufort County Council on Monday, June 26th at 5:00PM at 100 Ribaut Road in Beaufort.  Please save the date and plan to attend this meeting!
