The Beaufort County Planning Commission meets tonight at 6PM to consider the amendments that strengthen and clarify the Cultural Protection Overlay (CPO) zoning surrounding St. Helena Island.
Beaufort County Council has already voted in favor of strengthening the CPO on two out of three required readings. The Planning Commission meets this evening to make a recommendation to County Council before the final reading likely to be held on May 8th.
This is another opportunity to share your support for the Gullah/Geechee Culture and strengthening the CPO on St. Helena Island. See you tonight at 6PM at 100 Ribaut Road!
