It has been a hectic two weeks and a lot has happened.
- Our team went to Chevella to file an FIR about the banyans being burnt and we were assured that strict action would be taken against those who were doing this.
- Our representations are going out to the concerned authorities, and we are following up on them.
- We did two peaceful protests - one at Indira Park and the other outside Aranya Bhavan, resulting in newspaper articles in The Hindu and the Times of India.
- A field visit to check on the banyans assured us that they stand proud in all their glory. The meeting with Vikarabad Collector went well.

Step by step, upward onward...we are doing everything we can to keep the banyans right where they are.
