Thank you all for your continued support in the fight to Save The Alexandra Theatre. 

Teignbridge Council have received a provisional grant from the Government High Street Fund. The plans at this stage remain the same, to rip out the inside theatre, leaving the outer shell and replace with an extended market, eatery and multi functional space. 

The current designs show that the cinema plans to relocate to where New Look is located. 

We are fighting for the council to change the designs and to save the beautiful, fully functioning theatre, so it can be used as a community theatre/arts hub for our whole community to use.
