It is about time the powers that be listened to their constituents and heeded what they have to say. All concerned are doing a great job pretending that the only issue with the Whitton site is with the Admissions Policy when THAT IS NOT THE CASE. If they change the admissions policy that will go against the entire POINT of the school in the first place. Whitton doesn't need a secondary school, our current one is massively under capacity as it is, TEDDINGTON needs a school. So if they then built the school in whitton and changed it so it was skewed in favour of Whitton residents, teddington STILL wouldn't have appropriate school places for their children. It really is quite ridiculous. The main factors are 1) do NOT build on Metropolitan Open Land, 2) do NOT destroy our local area for someone else's benefit 3) do NOT create even more gridlock chaos than is already 4) do NOT potentially destroy some of OUR park for an access road.
