The CNMI Board of Education members are elected by the people of the CNMI.  They are entrusted by the public to hire a Commissioner of Education.  There are BOE Regulations on the Hiring Process of employees.  The Board did follow its regulations.  The hiring process has been completed and an offer of employment has been offered to Cynthia Deleon Guerrero.  Unfortunately, a few teachers in the PSS disagree and have started a petition to disrupt and protest the Board's selection.  This action by these few teachers is a disruption to the management of PSS and a blatant disrespect and lack of understanding of the democratic and autonomous process of the BOE.

As a stakeholder in this process, we ask you to sign this petition in support of the CNMI Board of Education's selection of Cynthia Deleon Guerrero as its new Commissioner of Education.
