Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Ontario citizens have faced some of the hardest financial blocks this year. With the newly issued Ontario lockdown late December, it has become difficult for some to pay their monthly bills as income drastically dropped. In my opinion it’s simple, lockdown on the province means lockdown on your bills as well. This simply means monthly bills, credit cards, etc should be frozen (at least) with no interest until the lockdown lifts in supposedly 28 days. By signing this petition you are making it one step closer to reach this goal of many. People should not have to worry about getting sick on top of worrying about their finances. The Ontario government is doing the best they can, but this is not enough for the average person. The citizens of Ontario stand together and I stand with you.
