A growing number of Covet Fashion players, and frequent users of the Tapjoy offers within the game, have encountered a growing problem within Tapjoy Customer Service.
Many offers are being denied for payment due to a "Device ID not recognized" error. Tapjoy states that the game was not downloaded and played until the offer's game goal is met. Players have done the best they could to prove to Tapjoy that the offer was completed and worthy of payment. We have even begun a habit of, once a game is downloaded to play, we go into the Not Rewarded wall and open the details of the offer and taken a ss of our Device ID listed at the bottom of the details page. But because Tapjoy sends an automated message stating the offer did not comply, they then closed the case - making it impossible to then contact Tapjoy to prove the offer was completed.
Tapjoy needs to be willing to engage in conversations with us about our offers without making rash judgements that we are sending in fradulent ticket submissions. They recently changed their ticket submission from an email-based system, to an in-game ticket submission system that offers little communication during the decision process of payment by Tapjoy. Time and effort is put into these offers by players, and we should have to opportunity to defend ourselves in our truth.
Players are much aware that using a VPN is against the T&C of Tapjoy. For Tapjoy to imply that we are using VPN with this "Device ID" denial message is absurd. They are deeming us guilty without the chance of proving our success in completing an offer. (And don't ever do the offers on the wall to d/l a VPN app because it's a trap laid by Tapjoy themselves to implicate us of breaking the T&C. SHADY!!)
