Dear fellow member of the Napili Bay Community,
Last week, the developer Greg Brown, enabled by the County of Maui, has brazenly resumed construction on his unlawful and monstrous building in our community.
This, despite written proof established by Public Works' inspectors that Brown's permits are invalid, as well as his obvious violation of the 2-story height limit applicable to Napili.
We must join together as a community and fight this illegal affront to our community, or else this horrible building will become a permanent fixture of Napili.
To that end, today we launch the Napili Bay Community Association to consolidate our voice, gather funds, and take legal action against Brown and the County.
Please go to Napili.org now and join the Association and add your name to our open letter.
This construction must stop now. This building must come down. Board by board. Beam by beam. Block by block.
Please forward this email and encourage your family, neighbors and friends to go to www.Napili.org and add their names to our open letter and membership rolls and donate what you can to support legal action.
More news will follow, including about protests at the site.
For now, we must fill the rolls of this community association, and show the County, and the Courts, that we will not be silent, and that we speak with one voice.
