Inspired by CITES protecting sharks & rays?! Take the next step!

Today CITES - the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, said YES to protecting sharks and rays. Silky sharks, Thresher Sharks and Devil Rays (Mobula Spp.) will all be listed on Appendix II giving these species much needed protection. During the decision at #COP17 the Philippines in particular stressed the importance of these species for alternative livelihoods in the tourism industry. Your signature is helping ensure the future of these species by championing sustainable tourism initiatives.
