Cagayan de Oro faces a serious flooding issue, and this can cause problems for the residents of the city, affecting the streets, homes, and their daily lives.

Poorly maintained drainage systems and garbage can make flooding worse. When trash builds up in canals and waterways, it can block the water flow and prevent rainwater from draining properly.

I am creating this petition to call for action on drainage and flood prevention in our city. Drainage canals should be cleaned regularly, waterways should be kept free from garbage, and flood-prone areas should receive proper attention and maintenance to help prevent flooding.

I also encourage everyone to always dispose of garbage properly and avoid throwing garbage anywhere, especially in the drainage canals and waterways. Preventing flooding is not just the responsibility of the government, but as a people, we can also help lessen the problems of our city by maintaining a clean environment around us and avoiding throwing garbage in the canals and waterways.

I believe that improvement of drainage systems, proper disposal of garbage, and cooperation of the community can help reduce and even prevent flooding in our city, making Cagayan de Oro a safe and clean city.

Even a small action can make a difference. Throwing garbage properly, keeping drainage areas clean, and supporting efforts to improve flood prevention are simple things that we can do to help our community.

Please support my petition for better drainage and flood prevention in Cagayan de Oro. Your signature can help spread awareness about this issue and encourage people to take action.
